31 Aug UNICAL V-C; Epoke, Lauds Ndoma-Egba on Constituency Projects
Vice Chancellor of the University of Calabar, Prof James Epoke, has commended the Senate Leader, Victor Ndoma Egba (SAN) for donating a multi – million-naira complex for the law faculty of the university.
The Vice Chancellor made the commendation when the Senate Leader visited the institution in continuation of his inspection tour of projects attracted to the state by him.
Epoke, who was represented at the occasion by the Director of Physical Planning in the University, Engr. Eyo Itam Eyo, thanked the senate leader on behalf of the staff and students for his magnanimity.
The Vice Chancellor who disclosed that the law faculty has always had accommodation challenges, said on completion of this project which he said is at 40 percent completion, the students will begin to have even more accommodation than they require at least for now. Responding, the donor, Senator Victor Ndoma Egba said he responded to a request from the alumni of the university for his intervention.
The Senate Leader disclosed that he has also donated similar facilities to the University of Lagos, his alma- mater stressing that he will continue to assist educational institutions in any way he can.
